About Ipsos
Ipsos was founded in 1975 by
Didier Truchot in Paris who later joined forces with Jean-Marc Lech in 1982. After several international acquisitions, Ipsos turns into a European market research institute by 1990.
In 1993 Ipsos takes over
GFM-Getas/WBAin Germany and later
INRA-Germany in 2002.
From 1997 onwards, Lech and Truchot expand the business across North and South America and finally worldwide after joining the Paris stock exchange in 1999.
After the acquisition of the internationally active
Synovate group in 2011, Ipsos now has offices in five cities across Germany: Hamburg, Mölln, München, Frankfurt and Berlin.
Here, over 500 employees are daily available for our clients in economy, academia and politics for the professional conduction of qualitative and quantitative research and high quality consultancy.
Ipsos is a member of the professional boards adm, BVM, and ESOMAR.
Ipsos is certified according to the international norms ISO 20252 and ISO 9001.
